Rodeway Inn Austin – Hotel near airport in Austin

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the bright side, the room I stayed in was clean and the bed was comfortable, which was fantastic. However, the air conditioning took forever to cool the room, and the hallway location was very peaceful away from the noise. The amenities in the room like the microwave, refrigerator, and coffee pot were a nice touch, making my stay more convenient.

The hotel was exactly as pictured on the website and needed to be brightened up and smelling a bit fresher. The rooms smelled like mildew, which was not ideal. However, the service was kind and helpful. The location was great for South Congress and downtown, but could use improvement on safety. The dining experience needed more variety, though having packaged products was convenient.

The location was convenient, close to South Congress and downtown, although in a lower neighborhood by the interstate. The dining experience offered very basic options, and the facilities were lacking.
